H__T: Prayers for my godson. Became a his godfather today and couldn’t be more proud. We had a general prayer for the large amount of our members and their families who have lately dealt with loss or other serious conditions.
We basically talked about the possibility of anyone helping or assisting in our efforts for reading nights, meeting nights “Chosen” nights, free to play game nights, etc. We have people trying to keep these events going well, and we would love any new input or engagement. Feel free!
We asked, during the opening prayer, as well as at the end of our meeting that our members go a little out of their way this week to cover our members and their families in prayer this week. An inordinate amount of our members have lost family members recently, or have family in very serious conditions, as well as members who have ongoing and chronic issues as well. Let’s cover each other in blankets of love and kindness, and keep our country, our leaders, and our community as close to God as we can. 🙂
